MARCH MADNESS SCRAPBOOKING!!

Some of you may know March Madness as the month of the annual college basketball tournament which is aired on television.

Well, at the Red Rooster Scrapbook Barn "Gathering Place" we are going to have our own March Madness Scrapbooking tournament!!  Every Friday and Saturday for the whole month of March we are going to be scrapbooking.  

Here are the game rules and the tournament schedule!

Tickets are $5.00 for each game (day of scrapbooking) at the "Gathering Place" at 555 Brigham City.  Start time is 

10 am - end time is 12 am (midnight).  Games are held every Friday and Saturday through the month of March.

With each game ticket you will receive a

 drink, snack and a prize!

At every game you attend, you will be entered into a tournament drawing for grand prizes including a scrapbook retreat.  And, whoever attends the most games will receive an extra grand prize!!  The grand prizes will be given away at the end of the tournament on March 29th.  

March 1, 7, 8,14,21,22,28, 29 are the game days held at the Red Rooster Scrapbook Barn "Gathering Place."

On March 15th, the game will be held at SEI Scrapbook Outlet Store in Logan.  This game will cost $30 and includes a welcome gift, lunch and prizes.  If you attend this game, you will be entered into the tournament grand prize drawing three extra times!!!

And, on March 29th some of us may opt to go to the Scrapbook Expo USA as a group in the morning and then come back and scrapbook at the "Gathering Place."

So ladies, grab your (or someone's you know) sports jersy (doesn't have to be basketball and I have extras if you don't have one) and let's scrapbook!!

125 GROOVY HIPPIE CHICKS!!

I must say this was one of my most favorite retreats yet and my largest!  125 Hippie Chicks!!  I had so much fun putting everything together . . . including the fun posters and decorations.  So many of the ladies dressed up and that always makes it so fun for me.  I raffled off a scrapbook retreat for two, Cricut Expression, scrapbook rolling tote, Chevron blanket with a pad of Chevron paper, homemade peach jam, bottled peaches and a few other items.  After the big raffle was done, we combined all the tickets and I then raffled off about 40 scrapbook kits.  Thanks ladies for a really awesome and groovy time!!

This has been a wonderful year for me and my family.  I feel very blessed.  

I want to thank all of you for your support during the past five years.  It is truly pure joy for me seeing the excitement you have by coming to my retreats.  I love all the ladies and have made some really good friends.

CHRISTMAS CARD EXCHANGE PARTY - LOTS OF FUN!!

Relda, Jeanne and Janeen won the Christmas sweater/sweatshirt contest.   The combination age of all three Christmas shirts were 90 years old!!

We had 20 ladies participate at my 1st Annual Christmas card exchange.  And yes, we all fit in my little shop.  Nice and cozy!  We ate, introduced ourselves, exchanged white elephant scrapbook/craft presents, sang Silent Night and then exchanged our cards.  Some wore their Christmas sweaters/sweatshirts and I gave away some homemade jam to three of the ladies with the oldest sweater/sweatshirts.  We had ladies come from Idaho, Salt Lake, Morgan, Logan, Avon, Ogden, Farmington, and the Salt Lake area. We also collected scrapbook/craft items to give away to the Boys & Girls Club in Brigham City. And, with the left over cards we are donating them to the patients at the Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake City.  Thanks so much ladies for a great time!

CHRISTMAS CARD EXCHANGE/PARTY & FUNDRAISER

I am having a Christmas Card Exchange, Party and Fundraiser on Thursday, December 5th at 7 pm at my shop located at 555 South Main, Brigham City.  You are welcome to invite your friends and family, however, space is limited to 25. 

Not sure what a Christmas Card Exchange is?  Each person will make 25 cards each and bring them to them to my shop on December 5th. We will put them all in separate piles and then everyone will take one different card each.  Everyone will then go home with 25 different cards.  If there are any cards left over, we will donate them to the Huntsman Cancer Center for the patients to mail out to their family and friends.  

In addition to the card exchange, I will be providing a light dinner and dessert in celebration of my 5 year anniversary.  Also, to make it even more fun, we will be having a "white elephant" scrapbooking present exchange.  This kind of "white elephant" gift will be one that is not your most favorite scrapbooking item(s)!!  (Grab anything you already have at home.) 

FUNDRAISER
I am collecting any scrapbooking supplies/craft items (please bring to the party) you may not be in need of and donate them to the Boys and Girls Club in Brigham City.  Everyday they are doing craft projects and are always in need of supplies.  If you would rather donate $5.00 (or both) that would be appreciated too!  If you are not able to make it to the party and still want to donate, please get in contact with me.

AUTUMN TIME RETREAT

Thanks to everyone again for coming to my Autumn Time Retreat.  We had lots of fun and had a midnight "spooky" chocolate fountain dessert.  We also had a lady come in and give chair massages.  The ladies who had their massages loved it!

At this retreat, I gave every group a scrapbook kit with the same items.  They all had 20 minutes to put the kits together.  It was a fun activity.  Most of the pictures below are of the ladies putting them together.
